Closed-Cell Roofing Foam That Builds Strength and Seals Tight

High-Density, Low GWP Foam for Durable, Seamless Protection

QUIK-SHIELD® 155-3 is a closed-cell, spray-applied polyurethane roofing foam that creates a monolithic, water-resistant barrier while delivering impressive insulation and uplift strength. With high compressive strength, low air leakage, and excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, this 3.0 lb. density foam is engineered for long-term performance—without seams, mechanical fasteners, or environmental trade-offs. It also meets California and Washington Low GWP mandates and contributes toward LEED credits.

Application Conditions:

Apply in ambient temperatures appropriate to your blend:

  • Winter: 45–65°F
  • Intermediate: 65–85°F
  • Summer: 80–115°F

Substrates must be clean and dry. Use high-pressure plural-component equipment with a minimum of 1000 psi dynamic pressure. Apply foam in ½″–1½″ passes to reach target thickness, ideally on the same day. Avoid spraying over surface moisture or damp substrates. Follow SWD prep and priming guidelines for specific materials.

Where It Works:

  • SPF roofing systems (new or re-roof)
  • Plywood, concrete, and metal decks
  • High-wind zones (up to 165 psf uplift resistance)
  • Areas requiring Class A/B fire-rated assemblies
  • LEED-conscious and Low GWP projects

Built for jobsite flexibility and long-term protection, QUIK-SHIELD® 155-3 brings you the performance of a premium spray foam roofing system—without compromising on environmental standards. It’s strong, efficient, and engineered to last.
